Greys: an introduction to the stories

The Grey is one of modern UFO culture’s most recognizable figures: a small body, large head and dark eyes. Reports disagree about anatomy, behavior and origin. Short and tall descriptions do not by themselves.

The Grey is one of modern UFO culture’s most recognizable figures: a small body, large head and dark eyes. Reports disagree about anatomy, behavior and origin. Short and tall descriptions do not by themselves prove separate species or a command hierarchy.

The Hill encounter report, later hypnosis material and proposed Zeta Reticuli map interpretation are separate layers of a developing account. A recalled drawing interpreted as a star pattern is not the same thing as an independently confirmed extraterrestrial navigation record.

The archive compares story traditions rather than constructing one definitive canon. Record the author, session or publication date before combining a claim with material from another source. A repeated idea can spread through copying instead of independent agreement.

Start with the distinction between observation and interpretation. A person can describe an experience sincerely while its cause remains unsettled. Channelled accounts introduce another layer: they are communications claimed by their practitioners, not independently authenticated transmissions.
